Project Selection - Magazine
The aspect of print journalism that interest me is taking notes and researching. Journalists have to do a lot to get information. Going to different people and places to get information interests me because I can learn about both sides of a story. In “The Newsroom”, Will McAvoy and his team try to make the news credible again. They do this by going to multiple sources for information and giving both sides of an argument. Journalists must be careful with their choice of words, making sure their facts are correct, and making sure everything is on the record. Because I am good at communicating with people, I will be able to get information easily. However, I am not very outgoing. It will be hard for me to go up to people and talk to them.
